OCUFA Status of Women Committee
Seeks New Members
The OCUFA Status of Women Committee, a standing committee of the Board of
Directors, is seeking new members, effective July 1, 2004.
The committee offers OCUFA and local associations advice on lobbying,
negotiating, and the creation of policy on issues of concern to female
academic staff.
All members of associations which belong to OCUFA are eligible to serve.
The committee has 4 regular meetings during the academic year. There are
eight members.
The term of office is two years, from July 1 to June 30 in any
consecutive two-year period. A member of the committee may serve up to two
consecutive terms of office.
The Status of Women Committee aims for geographical representation,
diversity in ranks and disciplines, and representation from designated
minority groups.
