YUFA Members Honoured by CAUT

At the recent CAUT (Canadian Association of University Teachers)
Council, held in Ottawa April 28-May1, two YUFA members, Mary Kandiuk
and Meg Luxton, were honoured:
1) Mary Kandiuk was the recipient of the CAUT Academic Librarians
Distinguished Service Award to recognize outstanding service by academic
librarians who have contributed to the advancement and / or working
conditions of academic librarians at Canadian universities.

2) Meg Luxton was the recipient of the Sarah Shorten Award to recognize
outstanding achievements in the promotion of the advancement of women in
