Appointment Practice for Joint
YUFA-Employer Committees
16 Nov 09 - At the 11 November 2009 Executive
meeting, the following practice was approved regarding appointing members
to Joint YUFA-Employer committees:
Nominations
for Joint YUFA / Employer Committees:

A
call for applications for joint YUFA / Employer subcommittees,
prepared by the YUFA caucus of JCOAA, be circulated to the
membership via Yufa-M. The call will include the number of members
to be appointed, a request for written statements, the term of the
appointment, deadline for applications, and any additional relevant
information (as determined by JCOAA).

The YUFA caucus of JCOAA will review and recommend appointment of
members to the YUFA Executive.

In the event there are insufficient applicants in response to the
call for applications the YUFA caucus of JCOAA will seek to recruit
members to fill the position(s).

The YUFA Executive will appoint members, based on the recommendation
of the YUFA Caucus of JCOAA, to be ratified by Stewards’ Council.
