Addition to Primary Negotiating Proposals Re: Librarian Sabbatical Credit

19 Jul 06 - During the early stages of Negotiations, the Bargaining Team noted an historical inequity in our Collective Agreement whereby faculty (see Art. 20.03) but not librarians are granted sabbatical leave credit upon being hired at York from other universities. We have asked that the Employer accept an additional proposal, which would mirror faculty entitlements for librarians, as part of our original package; they have agreed to accept it as a proposal.
