Bargaining Update #4
After
5 days of extensive preparation, including discussion with the YUFA
Executive, the Bargaining Committee met with the Employer on April 24,
2003.
In
the interest of moving clearly and expeditiously toward a reasonable
settlement, YUFA brought to the table a package it hopes will form the
basis of an agreement.
This
proposal highlights the following membership priorities: complement
reassurance; definition of normal work; equity in accommodation, access,
and compensation; and retirement benefits.
We
look forward to a positive response from the Employer.
