Vice-President External Vacancy
15 Sep 05 - At its September 14 meeting, YUFA's Executive Committee passed a motion of non-confidence in the Association's Vice-President External. This action was taken in accordance with Article 8.4.b of YUFA Constitution, and reflects the belief of Executive members that the Vice-President External is no longer able to fulfill his duties as an Officer of the Association, to support the work of Executive, and to act in the best interest of YUFA members.
In accordance with Article 8.4.b of YUFA's Constitution, a by-election will be held within a month in order to fill this vacancy. You will receive a notice concerning the by-election shortly, and we urge any members who might be willing to serve in this position to contact the YUFA office for more information.
Nick Lary will remain VP External until the results of the by-election are known.
