A second meeting of the Queer Caucus is being called for Wednesday 20 February, 3.00-5.00 pm, in the YUFA Board Room, 241 Schulich.

The first meeting of the caucus identified a number of areas of concern, including

1. questions of inclusion/exclusion in relation to the Collective Agreement and University policies;
2. the formation of a pool of teaching assessors who can represent our interests in tenure-and-promotion cases;
3. the discussion of shared interests with other caucus groups and organizations on campus. Representatives from the YUFA Equity Committee, the Race Equity Caucus, CUPE's Pink Triangle Committee, and the LGBT student group will be invited to address us and participate in our discussions. A further announcement will give the names of representatives from these groups who have agreed to attend.
